Samsung Galaxy Ring was released in India in October. It is the South Korean tech giant's first smart ring, and it is available in nine different sizes. Although Samsung has yet to announce any changes to the existing selections, a recent leak and certification site listing indicate that the smart wearable may soon be available in two more sizes. Notably, a successor to the first-generation Galaxy Ring with various enhancements was earlier expected to arrive in 2025.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: New Size Options
The Samsung Galaxy Ring User Guide now contains two additional versions (model numbers SM-Q514 and SM-Q515). The smart ring will be available in new 14 and 15 size variants. Currently, it comes in sizes ranging from five to thirteen.
The aforementioned model numbers also surfaced in a recent Nemko (Norges Elektriske Materiellkontroll) listing, indicating that the Samsung Galaxy Ring size variants would be released soon. The SM-Q514 option has also been seen on the TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) website. The listings corroborate the names "Galaxy Ring" and "Samsung Electronics."
Notably, tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) indicated in a recent X post that Samsung Galaxy Ring in sizes 14 and 15 will be available in January 2025. The new variations are estimated to weigh 3.2g each, with inner diameters of 23mm and 23.8mm.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Features & Price in India
The Samsung Galaxy Ring size 5 weighs 2.3g and has an inner diameter of 15.7mm; the size 13 weighs 3g and has an inner diameter of 22.2mm. It has three sensors: an optical biosignal sensor, a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer.
Galaxy Ring is compatible with the Samsung Health app and can last up to seven days when paired with the magnetic charging case. It's made of titanium and is rated IP68 and 10ATM. It is priced in India at Rs. 38,999 and comes in black, gold, and silver finishes.
