The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch next year as the company's thinnest flagship-grade smartphone in years, and a source has disclosed details about the rumored handset's features. The cellphone might be released in the second quarter of 2025, when the firm typically debuts its Galaxy A series and Fan Edition (FE) handsets. Meanwhile, a Chinese leaker claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim would be thicker than the iPhone 17 Air, which is also set to launch next year.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to debut in Q2 2025
Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) announced on Friday that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will have a 6.6-inch screen. If this allegation is correct, the handset might have the same display as the Galaxy S25+ model, which is planned to launch alongside the normal Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra models in January 2025.

• 6.66" display (like S25+)
• 200MP HP5 main camera
• 50MP JN5 UW
• 50MP JN5 3.5X telephoto
• SD 8 Elite
• ~4700mAh - 5000mAh🔋
Launching in Q2, 2025 - similar to A & FE series launch timeline.
Unlike the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to have only one back camera, the Galaxy S25 Slim variant might have three rear cameras, according to Roy's post on X. The device will have a 200-megapixel primary camera with an ISOCELL HP5 sensor, as well as two 50-megapixel cameras with ISOCELL JN5 sensors for ultrawide and telephoto (3.5x optical zoom) shooting.
According to Roy, Samsung might release the Galaxy S25 Slim in Q2 2025, about the same time it typically launches its Galaxy A series or Galaxy FE devices. The firm is apparently preparing to unveil the successors of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra during a Galaxy Unpacked launch event next month.
