Kate Middleton's brother, James, was full of admiration for his "incredible sister" as he revealed the beautiful letter he got from her.

The Princess of Wales, who held her fourth annual carol service at Westminster Abbey earlier this month, sent handwritten letters to everyone guests.

The service, which followed the future Queen's "brutal" cancer struggle this year, had a specific theme of 'empathy and love'. To commemorate her family's and her own emotional journey this year, the princess picked a particular illustration for the Order of Service that properly reflected the topic.

On Christmas Eve, James Middleton turned to social media to post a special message from his beloved sister in show of support.

"At Christmas and throughout the year, we must all shine for one another." Because in moments of pleasure and despair, we are all each other's light." A really poignant message from my wonderful sister at this particular time of year," James said in his Instagram post, accompanied a photo of the card he got from Kate.

"Merry Christmas to everyone," he said.

Charlie Mackesy, a successful novelist and illustrator, drew Kate's Order of Service illustration. It was a special remark written in scripting font: "How did I help? You were by my side. That was everything.
