The open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is currently active, with hundreds of gamers signing up to try out some of the multiplayer modes and maps. There is still time for those who have not yet got the opportunity to play. Activision said on Monday that the Black Ops 7 open beta would be extended by one day, until October 9.
Extended Open Beta for Black Ops 7
On October 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 became online, and the publisher praised gamers for joining the open beta. On October 8, the open beta phase was scheduled to end. The new deadline is October 9 at 9.30 p.m. IST (9.am. PT). Black Ops 7 open beta is still available for players to access on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation for two more days.
"So far, the response to the Black Ops 7 Beta has been fantastic! In a blog post, Activision stated, "There's a ton of fun playing alongside everyone, whether you're calling in Nukes in Multiplayer or going for high rounds in Zombies Survival." "We at Treyarch sincerely appreciate your feedback thus far. In light of that, we've heard you might want a bit more, so we're extending the Black Ops 7 Beta until Thursday, October 9 at 9am PT!"
The extension puts the open beta period for Black Ops 7 very close to Battlefield 6's release. On October 10, EA's military shooter, which is Call of Duty's main rival this year, will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. After a four-year hiatus, the well-liked franchise returns with Battlefield 6. In August, the game had its own open beta.
On Monday, Activision also updated the Black Ops 7 open beta with new maps and playlists. Open Moshpit, Moshpit, Open Hardcore Moshpit, and Search & Destroy are among the playlists available in the beta. The open playlists are brand-new to the beta and offer traditional matching with no regard for talent.
Along with The Forge, Cortex, Exposure, Imprint, and Blackheart, the Toshin map was also introduced to the Black Ops 7 beta on Monday.
In the weeks leading up to the game's November 14 release, Activision promised to provide more information about how it would incorporate player data and beta feedback into the final product. PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X will all be able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass will provide it on launch day.
