Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie appear to have demonstrated their devotion to King Charles in the midst of the Prince Andrew espionage crisis.
According to royal analyst Jennie Bond, the York sisters met with their mother, Sarah Ferguson, to save the royal family any additional shame.
In an interview with OK!, she addressed Andrew and Sarah's apparent refusal to accompany the major royal characters on the Sandringham walkabout.
She elaborated: "Andrew would have had to be living on another planet to be unaware of the furore surrounding his association with an alleged spy."
"Just as the year is set to end on a high for the Royal Family - with the King and Princess of Wales greeting the crowds on Christmas Day - along comes another embarrassing row involving the Duke of York," Jennie complained.
The royal expert believes that the King, who is a "kind soul," may have had to place his brother in a position to "un-invite or ban" him from "big family get-together."
However, Jennie stated that "Andrew [might] sat down with Fergie, and possibly his daughters, to discuss the best solution."
The expert praised the Yorks for recognizing that Andrew's appearance in Sandringham would be a "embarrassing distraction on a day which - this year of all years - should be all about the King and Catherine."
It is worth noting that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie attended King Charles' pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Eugenie made a subtle homage to Meghan Markle with her jewelry piece during an outing with the royals.
She wore Sophie Lis earrings, known as the "Fallen Star Hoop Earrings," which are also held by the Duchess of Sussex.
