Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy answers to the police's call for an investigation

 

Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who was with the singer in his final days, was summoned for an interview in his death inquiry case.

The 25-year-old influencer opted to go back from Argentina to Florida only two days before the One Direction musician died tragically on October 16th.

According to sources, police are now looking forward to speaking with Payne's girlfriend to aid with the investigation, and she has consented to an interview.

Cassidy is reportedly not being probed on suspicion, but rather because authorities believe she may be able to shed light on the late singer's last days.

A source told The New York Post, "She's going to help in any way she can; she wants the right people to be brought to justice, and if that means answering their questions, she'll do it." There's no reason for her not to comply; she's been trying to help him get clean for quite some time.

As of now, the case of the 31-year-old One Direction star's death remains unresolved, and police have summoned three persons for interrogation, including his buddy Roger Nores, who has refused to attend.

Nores, who has denied abandoning his friend before jumping from his third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, followed suit by refusing to answer police questions.
