The Princess of Wales shared personal insights on her cancer battle with well-wishers during the Royal Family's Christmas Day stroll at Sandringham.
Kate took a break from the service at St. Mary Magdalene Church to talk with some of the attendees.
One lady, who formerly worked with Macmillan Cancer Support, described the Princess as "an inspiration to all patients."
Kate was clearly affected by the gesture, responding: "The number of individuals who have written this year is incredible. Cancer affects so many families.
The Princess continued: "People like you are doing all the hard work out there. I'm really appreciative."
During the Royal Family's Christmas Day stroll at Sandringham, she interacted with the audience, exuding elegance and thanks.
Kate, dressed in a beautiful emerald green coat, received an outpouring of love and support, including flowers, presents, and emotional messages.
One lady encouraged her, adding, "We're all behind you, never forget that." Kate, evidently affected, responded warmly: "Thank you very much, [that's] so kind, nice to meet you."
A particularly moving moment occurred when Kate embraced 73-year-old Karen Maclean, a fellow cancer sufferer from North Lincolnshire, who related her tale of "20 years of cancer."
In what the Prince of Wales has characterized as a "brutal" year, both King Charles and Princess Kate were diagnosed with cancer only weeks apart.
